FAQs

“Forget THC! Cannabidiol (CBD) Is the Marijuana Industry’s Moneymaker”

Can my plants be uniquely identified in the field?

Yes. Your plants are planted on your property, however through the Co-Op model, each owner shares in the overall crop profit based on their ownership percentage.

Who owns the hemp?

The Co-Op owns the plants on your property and you own a percentage in the Co-Op. The Co-Op Agreement gives you the appropriate percentage of rights to the crop profits.

Do I own the land and how can I prove ownership of the land I purchase?

Once purchased, you will receive a fee simple title from the Government of Belize listing you as the new owner.

How do you choose where to plant?

Before acquiring any new land, extensive site research is conducted by our staff. We select only the highest quality sites to begin planting.

When do you plant?

The planting timeline is based on the weather conditions and generally commences every 3-4 months. We continually are planting different areas of the farm.

Who maintains the plants until harvested and sold?

We handle everything for you. Our expert staff will maintain and oversee every aspect of the process.

Will too many plantations reduce the value of the Hemp CBD?

No. Projections estimate that the demand for Hemp CBD will continue to outpace the supply. As more grow, the popularity is also increasing.

What about fire?

Tropical locations are generally damp, humid places where fire risks are low. Moisture is maintained in the soil and in the plants. It is very difficult to burn and our staff is vigilant, trained and equipped for such a risk. However, just as a precaution, we plan our plantations with appropriate fire breaks and have staff on site 24/7 that are trained to deal with a fires.

How about flooding or drought?

Flooding is not considered a risk due to the topography, drainage, and historical rainfalls of the area. Water is a vital resource and it is the first consideration when constructing a new plantation. We build wells, reservoirs, and pumping equipment which enables us to retain or release sufficient water at will.

Are hurricanes a problem?

No. This area is positioned in a location that rarely sees a hurricane or damaging tropical storm known to devastate other areas in Central America. This is another strong reason we have selected this growing site

Do you guarantee my plants will survive?

Yes. Since we are your partners and oversee every aspect of your project, we will replant any crop that does not survive or become marketable, at our cost.

Can I see the plantation from the Internet?

Yes. You can see the plantation via Google Earth (as it updates) on our website and through our newsletters. This will give you a view of exactly where the hemp is planted and how well it is doing.

How often are the plantations patrolled for poaching, vandalism, pest management, etc?

Theft almost never happens as each farm has a fulltime “live in” management team that are always within earshot of any problems. Farm managers and their crews are on the farms every day. Due to the rapid rate of growth of hemp, it’s necessary to inspect the plants frequently.

Do I have to pay tax?

There is no income tax in the country of Belize, however, each investor is responsible for their own tax arrangements and we advise you to check with an accountant or a qualified tax advisor.

What reports will I get?

You will receive a monthly report listing the growth details and performance of the Co-Op. When applicable, it will list the following: planting details /growth rate / harvested amount / total harvest weight / estimated returns / actual returns.
